The information collected includes Social Security number, date of birth, address, and other nonpublic personal information, which may include public benefits and protected health information, that we need in order to serve as your trustee. We also collect financial information
that may include your income, assets and expenses, as well as financial transactions and investment history with us and other vendors.
What Information We Share
We do not sell your information to anyone for any purpose. Only employees of Assured Trust Company and service providers that perform investment, administrative or other support functions for us will have access to your information. We require these service providers to protect the confidentiality of your information and only to use it for the purpose for which we disclose it to them. We may share your information with third-party companies or government agencies that you request or authorize us to share this information with in order to provide appropriate trustee services for you. We do not otherwise share your nonpublic personal information that we collect with anyone, except as required by law.
How We Protect Your Information
To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we have specific security policies and measures in place that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings. Our employees who handle your confidential information are trained in privacy and security processes and procedures.
